As CEO of her own independent company, Millie is already known and respected in the community, serving islanders and visitors alike, every day. Leading as Mayor will be the next great step in her career!

Top Issues:

Health & Fitness –

• Millie is fighting obesity in pets by leading the way in healthy eating habits and helping to wipe out a generation of Junk Food.

• She is recruiting local chefs to make healthy treats, which also encourages shopping locally.

• Exercise is a BIG part of Millie’s daily routine, and she encourages everyone to get out and explore our beautiful parks and trails throughout the islands.

• She is also concerned about the mental health of all our island pets, especially those in business. Sometimes this can be very stressful, and Millie encourages everyone to slowdown, take a walk on the beach or dip in the ocean. Or, sometimes you need to work itout with your friends and join a local Yoga or Pilates class!

Unique Qualities:

• She’s Eastsound’s first contact as you enter town on Main Street.

• She can run like Lightning!

• She can catch a ball with more accuracy than any dog on Orcas Island!
