Campaign Managers:
Lu & Davina Liberty
The Scoop
Smoochie comes from humble beginnings. She was abandoned in her youth and ran with a tough crowd on the streets of Eureka, California for several years.
In 2017 she was arrested for trespassing, evading arrest and assault on an officer. She served time in Humboldt County Animal Control and was eventually released into the custody of her foster parents, Lu and Davina Liberty, who brought her to Orcas Island.
Don’t be put off by the teardrop tattoos on her face; Smoochie knows the errors of her ways and is now a positive and productive member of society. She spends her days volunteering keeping senior horses company and working on her ETSY page where she sells rehabilitative hoofwear for miniature horses.
Smoochie is a testament to care and rehabilitation and believes everyone can become a functioning member of society, no matter what their background.
